We found Zaza and her sister Jasmin, living in a dark chicken coop. We took them into our shelter because we wanted to give them a chance to find a home of their own. Zaza is a phobic dog, she has been with us for about 1.5 years and won’t let us touch her. Every time we tried, she made a move to bite and sometimes she has bitten us. She is very social, sweet and happy with other dogs and likes to play all the time. When she sees us she is happy and wags her tail, she will come close to eat but won’t allow us to touch her. Also, she usually barks when she sees strangers. Zaza needs a family with experience, who has the willingness, time and patience to work with her and help her to trust people.
