We rescue Greek stray dogs by giving them the care and love they need and rehome them into a loving family. We find new dogs in need every day and the shelter is always at full capacity. We believe every dog deserves to be loved and we want to give each of them a better future! Saving one dog won’t change the world, but for that one dog the world will change forever.

The situation in Greece is really heartbreaking. There are over 5.000 strays in our area who live in very poor conditions on the streets without any food or shelter. Some had a home once, but got dumped cold-hearted because the owners moved away or just no longer wanted the dog. Others were born on the dangerous streets with no one to look after them. Sadly, it is not uncommon for dogs to be abandoned or even abused in Greece. Dogs who spent their whole life on a short chain, a pup who got her paw cruelly cut off or other obnoxious situations… we’ve sadly seen it all.
We bring the dogs to the shelter and give them the care and love they deserve. They get fully vaccinated and neutralized and when they are ready, we try to find a loving home for them to spend the rest of their life with. On the pictures are only two of the dogs who transformed form miserable stray dog to a spoiled, carefree and joyful family member, but there are many more like them! The happy faces of these dogs are what keeps us going!
